"However, I CONSIDER MY LIFE WORTH NOTHING TO ME, but if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has entrusted to me - the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace." Acts 20:24 I was blessed to be born and raised in a Christian home, and I came to know the Lord at the young age of six. I remember coming home from Sunday School one day, in which our teacher had talked about "Christians". I asked my Dad what a Christian was, and so he explained to me who Jesus Christ was. I learned then that I was a sinner, and that Jesus died on the cross for my sins, and rose again on the third day. Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life, in Christ Jesus." It was then that I repented of my sins, trusted in Jesus Christ alone for my salvation and received His gift of eternal life. God not only gave me the gift of eternal life, but also the joys of abundant life. I have experienced the blessings of obedience and heartaches of disobedience. I am consistently learning that His way is always best, and that life is tragic without Him. His Word is beautiful, His love is irresistible, and His grace is amazing!
