St. Francis High School, formerly named St. Joseph’s Academy, Boys’ Department, came into existence in 1950. This educational institution was perceived in the light of the pressing need for religious formation of the youth of the community; hence with the administrative assistance of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary, headed by Sis. Maria Mildreda, Rev. Fr. Brigido D. Nantes formally opened this institution with the purpose of developing the young men of the community into persons who are morally, physically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially fit. The school started accepting female students school year 1992-1993.
With the vision of expanding the assisian community, the school now sits in a brand new campus in Munting Bayan. A bigger and better facilities had been readied for school year 2005-2006 to continue servicing the educational needs of the modern youth.
St. Francis High School is committed to the education of young men and women with the aim of developing them into renewed Christians who are MAKA-DIYOS, MAKA-TAO, MAKA-BUHAY, and MAKA-KALIKASAN.
St. Francis High School a college preparatory community educates the whole person in the tradition of St. Francis of Assisi, a life of charity, simplicity, humility and love for peace.
St. Francis High School provides an environment which encourages students to achieve their highest potential through:
